Jesus always gives us opportunities to draw close to him. He wants us to know him, to think like he did and to do what he did.

It says in Revelation 3:20, “ Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

He is always available and inviting us into a relationship with Him.

With so many people struggling in the world today during the pandemic, Jesus gives a special invitation to those who are filled with worry and anxiety.   Matthew 11:28 says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

No one in human history has spoken like this.

In Jesus, we are in this unique relationship where we find peace when we come to him and learn. For it says in John 14:27, ” Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. ”

As we grow in him, Jesus says, ”If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32

So with His presence and his peace Jesus adds in John 14:12,  “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.”

Jesus healed every sickness and disease and cast out demons wherever he went. Then, unbelievably, Jesus calls us, who believe in him, to do the same.

This is why we do Healing Rooms.

People need to be healed and when our team prays for people, we see them healed!   What a wonderful ongoing plan He has!
